RIP Eric

I know only too well the pain of losing Eric is having on the family. I lost my husband in Jan this year of this dreadful disease. My heart goes out to you all. Safe in the arms of our Lord dear Eric. Jean xx

I never knew you but seen you with tina i never got to talk to you but saw you when you was ill my heart went out to you and i know you must of been in pain that was sad to see but the lord as taken you under his wing to look after as the choosen one you will always be remembered and never forgotten R.I.P. well eric this was such a shock that no one was expecting, we hope and prayed for you but god must of needed you the most you was a great brother inlaw and will be sadly missed but never forgotten

You will always be missed and never forgotten, i will always treasure our friendship. we had some laughs together and we laughed at the thunder birds and many more, i remember the dinner we did for you and tina you was a very fady eater i thought you was joking but soon found out you was'nt i will always treaures those moments and will never forget.

I want you to know you are very dear to me and i will miss you more then words can say it was nice to see you visit my house when you was so poorly that is some thing i will never ever for get you have touched the heart of so many people Eric and you will be sadly missed by Debbie and my self, we hope that you have met up with david in heaven and that you are getting aquainted and having fun, tell him we love him the same as we love you your one of the best love and miss you always Eric and you will never be forgotten the tears may fade away but the memories will linger on never to be forgotten gentle jesus up above give Eric all our love.

Letter from Heaven

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's not more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon, and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly, you're part of my plan.
There's so much that I have to do, to help our mortal man"

God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you...in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over,
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night..."My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.

So, if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...you're coming here to me.

God saw you getting tired. When a cure was not to be,
He closed his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me".
In tears we saw you sinking. We watched you fade away.
Our hearts were almost broken, you fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back to suffer so again.
So keep your arms around him Lord, and give him special care.
Make up for all he suffered and all that seemed unfair.

I came to see you today in the chapel of rest it hurt just as much today as it did sunday, but you looked at peace, i saw tina cry and talk to you it broke my heart to see her hurting the way she is but your there with her in soul and that is all she has we all miss you day by day and as time goes on it will get easier but you will never be for gotten. we have seen the brightest star in the sky and we know that is you because you shone on earth the same and always will do. day by day i think of you and my twin sister Tina and keep hoping i wake up and it has all been such a bad dream, but it is no dream my heart could break into thounds of pieaces to know some one so nice could be taken away from us we will never know why but we know god wanted you for a reason, and i know what ever the reason you will do good as you did here on earth, It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.
