Eric sadly lost his 13 month battle against cancer. On 24th August he passed
peacefully in his sleep in the arms of his wife, TINA. He tried fighting the
illness and lord knows he tried.
Eric will be sadly missed and forever loved. There will never be a day go by
that he isn't in our toughts and hearts.
We love you.
Eric's love for life was his lovely wife Tina. Through thick and thin they were
as strong as SUPERGLUE, never before have i seen a bond like theirs.
Throughout the illness Eric was nursed by his wife, he never complained about
his pain or treatment recieved. When in pain he never let on. He wanted to live
life to the full, NO MATTER WHAT. He was a very brave man. I think the LORD
above wanted an angel, so he took ours. I would describe Eric as an angel as
that is exactly what he was.
Eric was a loving father to ALL his children, Caroline, Mark, Ruth, James and
his baby girl Ellen. He was adored very much by all his 10 grand babies. They
all were important to him. He loved spending time with them and his wife.
He enjoyed having a laugh and joking with people. He was a very funny character,
but loving with it.
He enjoyed lots of music, mostly 50's, 60's, 70's and ABBA. He never hurt
anyone, he also loved helping people, no questions asked.
He made friends very easily and has lots of them.
Before he passed on, he wanted everyone that WAS in his life to know that he
loved them.
Eric always said that he'd wait for Tina at heaven's gates to welcome her in,
because he truely loved her.

well a week has passed and it still seems like it was yesterday, i wish i could close my eyes then open them and find it all was a bad dream, but it is not, and we miss you more then ever, nothing can take the pain away that we are suffering from losing some one so loved and cared for as you are to all of us mainly Tina she misses you every second of every day and will do till the day you meet again. and you will look down on your angel. i hope their looking after you in heaven.

Eric you was the best brother inlaw any one could ask for, you was a gentle giant, you had a heart of gold. you had been called upon because god needed a special ANGEL, and he got that in you. We will always cherrish the precious times we had with you. i saw you Sunday at 5.30 half hour before you passed away, i watched the tears fall from your eyes, that was heart renching and so sad to see, i will never understand why the lord had to take you Eric. you was the best and will be sadly missed by all of us but mostly my twin sister Tina and the rest of the familey, as well as friends. You tried so hard to fight your illness, you was very brave, you suffered lots of pain and still managed to smile, then the lord took you to the gates of heaven along with all the other angels, and their you will remain till you meet up with your loved ones again, time may heal the pain but it will never fade the tears or memories.
